Our Cabinetry:

At Shaun Campbell Inc. we believe cabinetry whether it’s just a desk or a complete kitchen should be of furniture quality and handcrafted with such craftsmanship that it will last for generations.

Here are the features that you will find in our cabinetry:

• All-wood construction – no particleboard.
• ¾ inch birch veneered plywood cases with dado and rabbet joinery.
• ½ inch birch veneered plywood backs set in a rabbet.
• Solid wood toekicks.
• Hand selected solid wood face frames with a tongue and groove joint to the cases.
• Mortise and tenon joinery.
• Grain matched inset doors and drawer fronts.
• Solid maple dovetailed drawers.
• Fully adjustable shelves in upper and lower cabinets.
• Shelves are either solid wood or veneered plywood with solid wood nosing.
• Non-mortised hinges and full extension 100lb slides.
• Various knobs and hardware choices.
• Interiors are a clear, stained or painted finish.
• Exteriors can be hand applied stain, paint, varnish or a precatalyzed lacquer. Glazing and distressing is available also.

We will also handcraft custom bookcases, built-ins and mantels as well as Shaker and Arts and Crafts inspired furniture.

The Process:

Getting Started

The first step is to develop a plan. This plan should include a wish list, appliances or equipment and a general layout. From this plan we can then work with you on designing the cabinetry to fulfill your needs. Or if you already have a design we will gladly work with it.

Choosing a Style

Next comes choosing a style in which you’d like your cabinetry to be built. Our cabinetry is custom made for a particular client and will be handcrafted to reflect the architecture of your home and your personality.

Finishes

Now that we have the style chosen we need to pick the finishes. We hand apply finishes like stains and paints for color and for added protection a varnish topcoat. Other finishes can be used such as precatalyzed lacquers, glazing and distressing.

Hardware

Period style hardware is used to enhance the beauty of the cabinetry. We can provide you with samples of knobs and hinges. Other items may include decorative nails and wooden pegs.

The Quote

Once all the details are finalized a quote for the cost and estimated delivery date will be provided.

The Cabinetry

A small group of craftsmen handcraft each cabinet from start to finish ensuring a quality product.

Installation

We will provide installation if within a limited distance from our shop. If you choose to use your own installers then detailed plans and information will be gladly provided to assist your installation.

Warranty

We stand behind our cabinetry and installations with a limited 10 year warranty against defects in workmanship.
